The Hermit
This piece will be the BG graphic for the opening page “Soul Mentor”. The creative director’s vision was a simple one of combining the archetype of the Hermit with the cave which hasn’t been done before (that he knew of anyways). It’s purpose is to evoke a since of being led into the dark places of one’s psyche with the spirit of discovery, growth and transformation.
Moody Yoda
I’d like to thank James Zilla for creating the tutorial which provided the main techniques for this lil poster. Talk about changing humdrum to “Whoa”. I think his self portrait really showcases his skills and how subtle, built up affections can make an image really pop. Anyways I’ve posted a before and after as well.
